Chef Danielle Moore, known as BK Chef Danielle, is a Brooklyn-based chef, baker, and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience creating soulful food rooted in family, culture, and tradition.

Her culinary journey is deeply inspired by two extraordinary women—her grandmother, Annie Mae, who shared her love of baking, and her mother, Ethel, whose savory cooking helped shape Danielle’s passion for soul food. After losing both women just 15 months apart, Danielle left her career in veterinary nursing and committed herself to preserving their legacy through food.

As the founder of Ethel & Annie Mae’s Soul Food Kitchen and Annie Mae’s Bakery, Chef Danielle blends traditional Southern flavors with her own creative approach. From comforting soul food favorites to signature desserts, she believes food should do more than satisfy your appetite—it should bring back memories, tell a story, and bring people together.
